The school library is central to learning and plays a key role as a place for encouraging innovation, curiosity and problem solving. The library is a catalyst for literacy and reading and for teaching and scaffolding learning. School libraries make a difference to students understanding and achievements and provide support for teaching and learning throughout the school. The school library is an important part of the school community and reflects and welcomes this community.

Our library is today recognised as one of the premier school libraries incorporating the latest technological innovations to make it user friendly and eminently accessible.It plays a key role in the cultural and social life of the school. It is a Central point for engagement with all kinds of reading, cultural activities, access to information, knowledge building, deep thinking and lively discussion.It has two libraries - one senior and one junior. Both are well equipped, comfortably furnished and has airy, spacious and well lit interiors. They follow Open Access System. This system allows any student/staff to pick and choose any book they like.. Our Senior Library is equipped with high profile automation software by REDOX technology.
This software facilitates easy selection of books based on the choice of an individual. Our Library have a huge collection of over 25,000 documents and the number is on a rapid increase. They subscribe to 62 Magazines and Journals and 7 National Dailies.The DDC is the Classification System used in the Library. OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue ) is provided to the clientele. Students from class IV to XII visit the library. Books are issued to students all round the year.

To strengthen the bond between books and students, Literary Festivals are celebrated. The students have a revelling time throughout the festival with various activities and competitions such as Literary Quizzes, book Review Writing, Short Story Writing, Story Sessions, Characters and Author Parades, Extempore based on books and characters, making book caterpillars, Posters and Book Marks.
Our school library is a fundamental resource for supporting students learning and a key support for teaching.
