TO ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO DEVELOP GOOD READING HABIT, AN INCENTIVE IN FORM OF MERIT AWARD MEDAL IS GIVEN FOR GOOD READING.

  • This should be strictly observed by the student, Target are expected to be completed by 31 Jan.
  •              In this scheme a student is required to read a certain number of books and earn pages. The good reading books for each class are marked with a slip of a specific colour. The colour for class 4 is white, class 5 is yellow, class 6 is red and for class 7 is green in Junior Library & Class 8 and 9 reading books section is separate in Senior Library. The children will be given books from the library.
    ·         The Librarian takes the library test. This test includes objective and fact based questions that are asked from the students in order to verify whether they have actually read or not.
    ·         A record is maintained by the student in his Diary of the given book tests.
    ·         The students may give these tests on Saturdays 8 am to 12 pm in the Library, in summer break & winter break.
    ·         Final selection of the students will be based on highest points earned by the student for reading , for maintenance of library notebook, punctuality, overall discipline and one final test at last.

    IT IS A REALLY AMAZING SCHEME ...I THINK THAT EVERY SCHOOL SHOULD HAVE THESE KIND OF SCHEMES TO ENCOURAGE THE STUDENTS TO READ BOOKS AND TO INCULCATE GOOD VALUES IN THEM.............

    ITS ENCOURAGING SCHEME.I FEEL GRATITUDE TOWARD MY LIB TEACHER MRS. SARIKA SHARMA MAM AS SHE HELPED ME TO COMPLETE THIS SCHEME. I HAD COMPLETED THIS SCHEME SINCE 2 YRS AND ACHEIVE GOLD MEDAL.NOW I AM IN IX AND WANT THAT THIS SCHEME WILL CONTINUE IN THIS CLASS ALSO.

    The good reading scheme is highly inciting. I am really thankful to our principal mam, Mrs. Anita Wadehra and our library teacher, Mrs. Sarika Sharma for introducing the scheme.

    BUT!!! i want to continue this in 9th class also, so please can you tell the pages required achieve the gold medal in 9th class ???
